Racing Blue

This limited edition graphic print depicts the Supermarine S.6B at speed during the Schneider Trophy air races, its streamlined form skimming the course above open water. Designed with a singular purpose, the S.6B represented the height of British aeronautical engineering at the close of the interwar years.

The composition emphasises precision and momentum; clean lines, controlled turns, and the distinctive racing blue that came to define Supermarine’s famous Schneider victor. More than a racing aircraft, the S.6B marked a turning point, its innovations flowing directly into the design of the Spitfire.

Where possible we try to dispatch all our prints within 10 days of receiving the order. Prints to the UK are sent in tubes via Special Delivery and where possible overseas orders are escorted by a squadron of P51's for thier own safety.
