BEHIND THE ART

Aircrafft was founded by London based graphic designer Mark Waters, whose love of bold, minimal imagery meets a lifelong fascination with aviation.

Inspired by 1920s–30s travel posters, especially the work of Tom Purvis, he brings iconic aircraft into contemporary graphic form. Despite being nervous of actually flying, his passion for aircraft fuels artwork that captures the spirit and beauty of flight in a fresh, modern way.
